NEW SHADES

Sunnies - Topshop

As a not-so-well-deserved study break I ventured on a little shopping spree in town yesterday,
and managed to cause some damage to my bank balance. One of the things that I picked up
 were these sunnies from Topshop. I've been toying with the idea of investing in a pair of
statement sunglasses for a while now but I've been unsuccessful in finding a pair that suited
my (annoyingly round) face. 

These cat-eyed sunnies make definitely enough of a statement and they were under 20 pounds
 so I felt like they could serve as a test run while I continue my search for the perfect pair.

Also they make for a perfect excuse for shameless selfies.

FINER THINGS IN LIFE

It's every uni student's favourite time of the year: Essay-Season. Meaning that I'll be residing in the library
until the 23rd. If I'm lucky. Procrastination has, however, risen its ugly head once again and therefore I blogs.
 And as I'm trying to spend as much time as possible on this irrelevant blog post, therefore I writes as well.

I got these new babies when I was back in Finland last month. And oh boy am I pleased.
It's funny how materialistic things can make you incredibly happy, whilst being completely
 irrelevant to your life in general. Not trying to get into that whole 'money can't buy happiness' -discussion here,
it's just that sometimes I feel really sympathetic towards Gollum.

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to wear them yet, partly due to the fact that Edinburgh weather has been
 'less sunshine, more waterworks', but mainly because they don't deserve to be worn with joggers and pyjama pants...

Accidents Happen

I had kind of promised myself that I wouldn't do ANY shopping in January, but as on one dark and gloomy finnish winter night I found myself on ASOS.com accidents were bound to happen... 

To justify my actions I must tell you that I only scrolled through the sale section of ASOS, in other words I basically SAVED money.. right?
